Feet Beat Intensive Course weekend with Barbara Duffy (NYC)

Oct 30 - Nov 1, 2009. In collaboration with Helsingin Tanssiopisto Barbara Duffy is an acknowledge rhythm tap teacher and performer recommended by the late Gregory Hines. She danced in Brenda Bufalino's American Tap Dance Orchestra. Nowadays she has her own company that has toured around the world. Duffy has a long teaching experience. Her teaching methods and rhythms are fascinating.

Leon Collins Routine #2

Levels: Higher Intermediate-Advanced/Prof.

Leon Collins (1922-1985) was a tap dance legend who lived in Boston, originally from Chicago, Illinois. He's former students are now passing on his brilliant routines. Routine # 2 is a quite difficult routine. The teaching pace will be adapted according to the advanced level so Barbara Duffy will be able to teach the whole routine during the three days. People from the Higher Intermediate level are also welcome but be prepared to a higher pace.
