CONTEMPORARY RHYTHMS AND TAP CLASSICS




The FBTE has performed at the Tap City Festival in New York and at international tap events in Latvia and in Holland. In Finland the ensemble has performed at several occassions including dance and cultural festivals and on the national television. The ensemble has appeared at the International Feet Beat Tap Festival annually since 2002.

Tap pieces to jazz, ethnic, funk music and a cappella. Feet Beat Tap Ensemble pursues to present tap as a versatile art form. The FBTE is collaborating with the musicians of the Fuse Project.

The ensemble has produced two rhythm tap productions "Tapspiration" and "Kaiut". They have been presented in Helsinki and Turku in 2005 and 2006.
