Weekend Intensive Courses with Max Pollak (New York, USA/Austria) in Helsinki

Max Pollak began his career as an actor, singer and jazz-drummer. He has toured with, among others, Manhattan Tap, Cool Heat Urban Beat and his own company, RumbaTap. Mr. Pollak has created a highly unique style, choreography and teaching method by fusing Afro-Cuban folklore with Afro-American rhythm tap and Body Drumming. His classes have inspired many students long after. Come and enjoy the smooth moves and challenging rhythms in his classes with us!

COURSES

• Body Drumming February 26-28, 2010: All levels. Stamping, your feet, slapping the body and singing in different rhythmic patterns. This course may fill up quickly. Equipment: Indoor sneakers!
• Tap Dancing February 27-28, 2010: Levels Intermediate (mixed lower and higher intermediat) and Advanced

• Saturday 18.15-19.45
• Sunday 12.45-14.15

Tap February 27-28, 2010: Course fee 55 euros/course (2 x 90 min)

• Intermediate level: Saturday 16.45-18.15 and Sunday 11.00-12.30 - THE COURSE IS FULL
• Advanced level: Saturday 19.45-21.15 and Sunday 14.30-16.00
