Among the performers were the renowned artistic director of Manhattan Tap, Heather Cornell and Max Pollak. Pollak fuses Afro-Cuban folklore moves and rhythms with tap in a contemporary experimental way in his Rumba Tap company. The master of entertainment, Chester Whitmore and the intellectual versatile artist Josh Hilberman from Boston brought extra spices to the evening. "Tap & Tray" performed a stylish and demanding number where they are rotating big trays at the same time. The artist of the evening also mixed with each other and performed pieces together.
Speakers: Sofi Kyrklund (Finland) and Chester Whitmore (USA)
Musicians: Jarmo Savolainen trio.
Duration: 100 min. including intermission
