Mr. Hilberman is a teacher that will make you feel comfortable in class and who can tell you how to do steps.. Even the late Gregory Hines recommended him to others. Mr. Hilberman started tap dancing under the instruction of Gene Medler, and continued studying with Diane Walker at the Leon Collins Dance Studio in Boston, where he has also been a faculty member. He has studied with and is inspired by the likes of James 'Buster' Brown, Brenda Bufalino and Charles 'Honi' Coles. He has also toured with Manhattan Tap and with Brenda Bufalino's American Tap Dance Orchestra. As a performer Mr. Hilberman seems to have fun with his feet.
