THE 6th international FEET BEAT TAP FESTIVAL 2002

Feet Beat ry organized the international tap event for the sixth time in Finland, in collaboration with the Västra Nylands folkhögskola (VNF-College). We invited renowned master teachers with a good reputation and long experience in the tap dance world. The purpose of the festival was to give tap dance enthusiasts and professionals an opportunity to make their tap dance education more comprehensive. The intensive courses in Karis/Karjaa gave a possibility to study in an intimate surrounding without everyday duties to disturb ones learning process.

Students studied tap at their own level several hours per day, and also became acquainted with other rhythmic dances. Furthermore there was a common program for students at all levels in the evenings. The tap dance levels (a total of four) ranged from advanced beginners to professionals. There was no absolute beginners level.
