Sofi Kyrklund has established herself as one of Finland's most esteemed Tap dancers and instructors. With a Professional Diploma in dance education from the Theater Academy of Helsinki, Sofi teaches in Helsinki, (Helsingin Tanssiopisto), as well as in Turku (Tanssitiimi and Turku Conservatory) and Lahden Tanssiopisto. She has also taught many workshops in Finland and abroad and has been a recipient of the prestigious Finnish Arktiset Askeleet award for her choreography. Sofi has performed in various dance concerts in Finland, Estonia and Sweden and has even appeared in a television commercial. She has studied with Brenda Bufalino, Barbara Duffy, Robert Audy, (USA) and Pascal Hulin, Victor Cuno and Derek Hartley in Europe among many others. This year she has been asked to teach for the second time at the big Kuopio Dance Festival in June.
