One of the top flash and rhythm dancers in the world, Mr. Porter was a featured dancer in the Broadway hit Black and Blue. A protégée of Maceo Anderson and Jimmy Slyde, he has also performed with Cab Calloway, Tito Puente, Winton Marsalis and many legendary tap dancers. Mr. Porter was a featured performer in Riverdance and has received the Artist of the Year Award from the NAACP. He has appeared among other things in a documentary about the late legendary PegLeg Bates. Mr. Porter's classes will incorporate his inimitable style, grace and fluidity of movement. His class will embody the teachings of the early masters fused with dynamic funk rhythms.
