A full time tap teacher since several years in Helsinki, (Helsingin Tanssiopisto) and other educational institutions. Workhsops in Finland and abroad. Artistic director of Feet Beat Tap Ensemble (FBTE). Performed with the the multi-cultural production by Gabriela Gutarra, Rhythm & Dance in Sweden. Ms. Kyrklund's solo dance production Resonance premieres in Helsinki spring 2005. Most important teachers Brenda Bufalino, Heather Cornell, Barbara Duffy, Robert Audy, (USA) and Pascal Hulin in Europe.

Ms. Kyrklund has been producing the Feet Beat Tap events since 1997. She has brought to Finland master tap dancers including Heather Cornell, Barbara Duffy, Lane Alexander, Robert L. Reed, Jason Samuels Smith among many others.

SOFI KYRKLUND on monipuolinen tanssija-koreografi. Kyrklund on esiintynyt monissa tanssitapahtumissa Suomessa ja ulkomailla. Syksyllä 2004 hän esiintyi mm. monikulttuurisessa Rhythm & Dance tanssinesityksessä Ruotsissa. Keväällä 2005 hän tuotti Helsinkiin oman soolokonsertin Resonanssi, jossa toteutui onnistuneesti muusikkojen, tanssijoiden ja rytmin yhteistyö. Kyrklund on Feet Beat Tap Ensemblen taiteellinen johtaja. Keväällä sai ensi-iltansa myös Feet Beat Tap Ensemblen ryhmäteos Tapspiration, jossa Kyrklund myös itse tanssi ja teki suurimman osan koreografioista. Tapspiration vieraili myös Turussa.
