Began his carees as an actor, singer and jazz-drummer. He has toured with among others Manhattan Tap (artistic director Heather Cornell), Cool Heat Urban Beat and Cyro Baptista's "Beat The Donkey". Mr Pollak has created a highly individual style, choreography and teaching by fusing Afro-Cuban folklore with Afro-American rhythm tap and Body percussion. His classes have inspired many students long after. As a performer he is the one who often stops the show.

MAX POLLAK on afrokuubalaisiin rytmeihin ja body percussioniin erikoistunut tanssija, näyttelijä ja jazzrumpali. Hän on Itävallasta kotoisin, mutta on asunut New Yorkissa jo usean vuoden ajan. Pollak on tanssinut kiertueilla eri maissa mm. Manhattan Tapin sekä Cool Heat Urban Beatin kanssa, joka vieraili myös Helsingissä ja Kuopiossa vuonna 2000.
